Obscure Fandom Week (Day 3)

Zork

I skipped a day! Which is fine because I only have like, 5 things I could think of for this week anyway.

BUT ANYWAY YEAH, ZORK IS AWESOME. I am so incredibly surprised when I hear that even my dorkiest of nerd friends have never even heard of Zork, let alone play any of the games. The Zork series (all of the games. I could never possibly pick a favorite) comes so close to being my absolute favorite in video games. They are literally the funniest games I’ve ever played. I could talk about Zork for 1000 years and it wouldn’t be enough time to properly express how much I love it.

I totally understand people who would be hesitant to play a text based RPG, though. But there are graphical adventures you could try that are pretty good too! If you’re into this sort of thing I totally recommend one of those (not Nemesis please do not play Nemesis). And hey, if you end up liking it, maybe you’ll want to play the original trilogy after that!
